MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist in sampling operation.

· Recording of data into QC system.

· Inspection of bananas and pineapples (when trained).

· Working with other members of the QC team.

KEY SKILLS:

· Good numerical skills.

· Good communication skills.

· Conscientious and committed with an eye for detail.

· Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of MS Office.

· Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.

· The ideal candidate must be motivated, flexible and a good team player.

OTHER INFORMATION:

· Full-Time Hours – 40 hours per week.

· Hours of Work – 7.30am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.

· Reporting to the Quality Manager UK.

· The position will be based in Basingstoke, but some travel to other Fyffes locations within the UK will be required.

· The role involves lifting heavy boxes up to 23kg.

· Full training will be given.

· Some degree of flexibility will be required in terms of shift times and hours of work, in order to meet the demands of the business.

· This is a salaried, monthly paid position.

· This position is offered on UK local Terms and Conditions.

· This position is not eligible for relocation support.
