We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Line Leader to join our team in Balbriggan. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence to play a key role in supporting the efficient day-to-day running of our warehouse operations.

Shifts- 5:00am to 5:00pm, 3 days in 4 days off in one week, and 4 days in 3 days off in the second week. (Average 37.5h per week) 2 week shift pattern

Salary: €34,500-€36,000 per Annum

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: In person- Fyffes Ripening & Distribution Centre, Balbriggan, Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Supervising a team of warehouse operatives to manage the intake of fruit and consumables, loading and unloading of ripening rooms, and a timely efficient delivery of fruit to production and customer sales orders.

Ø To set targets and work alongside / supervise the staff

Ø Direct and organise the accurate & productive loading and unloading of vehicles and ensure vehicles leave with the correct documentation, cargo and temperature regime

Ø Collaborate with Ripening and Quality teams to ensure good fruit delivery service levels.

Ø Collaborate with Quality in dealing with box quality, fruit rejections, waste disposal and support

Ø Manage, Check and control production systems to ensure compliance with customer and business requirements

Ø Order Processing and docket creation on varied operational systems

Ø Order collation and distribution to necessary team members

Ø Ensure that the working area is kept tidy and complies with H&S regulations

Ø Ensure that all products are accurately scanned and labelled correctly prior to dispatch

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Ø Computer literate, with SAP experience an advantage.

Ø Strong communication skills and a good understanding of the English language.

Ø Good numerical skills.

Ø Very strong organisational abilities.

Ø Hands on approach.

Ø Conscientious and committed with an eye for detail.

Ø Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.

Ø Must be able to work effectively under pressure.

Ø Decisive with a need to be able to prioritise workload.

Experience:

· Previous experience in a warehouse (1 year required)
