Fyffes International SA is seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to join our hygiene team. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our production and warehouse facilities, while following the relevant work instructions, cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can manage priorities effectively and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Hours of work: 37.5h per week (5 days per week over 7 days)
Salary range- €15.00- €15:30

Key Responsibilities:
As a Cleaning Operative, your duties will include:
Ø Deep cleaning production and warehouse facilities to the required standard.
Ø Cleaning floors, surfaces, ripening rooms and other production areas at scheduled intervals.
Ø Following all relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Ø Completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
Ø Working collaboratively with other teams and departments to meet operational requirements and targets.
Ø Maintaining good housekeeping and following the company’s clean-as-you-go policy.
Ø Reporting hazards, equipment faults, accidents and near misses to management.
Ø Using equipment, machinery, substances and safety devices correctly and in accordance with the training provided.
Ø Complying with company health and safety, fire safety and food hygiene requirements.
Ø Following applicable warehouse and cleaning procedures, including organic cleaning instructions and methods.
